Accessibility Statement

We are committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies.

The Fierberg National Law Group is committed to making this website usable for everyone. Many of the people who come to us are facing the hardest moments of their lives, and we want every one of them to be able to find us, understand our work, and reach out, without barriers standing in their way.

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. No single design works perfectly for every person, and a website is never truly complete. We build, test, listen, and keep improving.

Conformance Status

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA — the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and widely referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508.

At the moment, this website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that most of the site meets the standard, and we are actively working to resolve the areas that do not. We recently rebuilt this site on a new design system engineered with accessibility in mind from the start, and remediation of any remaining and legacy content is ongoing.

Measures We Take

We treat accessibility as part of our design and development process, not an afterthought. Our measures include:

  • Building each page as static, semantic HTML with appropriate WAI-ARIA roles and landmarks, so its core content and navigation work even without JavaScript
  • Using JavaScript only to progressively enhance a small number of interactive components — never as a requirement for reading the page or reaching us
  • Testing with both automated tools and manual review, including keyboard-only navigation and screen-reader checks
  • Maintaining sufficient color contrast, clear and visible focus states, and legible typography
  • Respecting user preferences such as reduced motion
  • Treating accessibility as a continuous part of site maintenance rather than a one-time audit

We are also developing a light theme as a future enhancement, alongside our default dark theme.

Technical Specifications

Accessibility of this website relies on the following technologies working with your browser and any assistive technologies or plugins you use:

  • HTML
  • WAI-ARIA
  • CSS
  • SVG
  • JavaScript (ECMAScript)

The site is delivered as static HTML and CSS, with JavaScript used to enhance — not to provide — core content. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the standards above.
