Biography
Jacob R. Goodman’s practice focuses on severe personal-injury cases and representing victims of sexual abuse, hazing, and other violent crimes.
Mr. Goodman developed a passion for anti-discrimination law during law school. While on The Vanderbilt Law Review, he wrote his student note on a novel Title IX issue — Deliberately Indifferent: Institutional Liability for Further Harassment in Student-on-Student Title IX Cases, 75 Vand. L. Rev. 1273 (2022) — which was selected for publication. He also served as a legal-writing teaching assistant and represented clients in civil litigation implicating the First Amendment through Vanderbilt’s First Amendment Clinic.
Before joining The Fierberg National Law Group, Mr. Goodman served two years as a judicial law clerk for Chief United States District Judge Travis R. McDonough in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Most recently, Mr. Goodman was recognized in the Traverse City Business News 40 Under 40 — the region’s annual list of the 40 most outstanding, influential young leaders whose professional and community efforts have most impacted the community, the region, and the economy.
