Biography
I’m Jacob Irontree, founder of Irontree Design and the person behind tfnlgroup.com — the site itself, the systems running it, and most of the marketing that got you here.
When I started, the firm’s WordPress site had just launched, and it was already working against itself: slow, hard to update, and quietly bleeding the traffic it needed to reach people. I ran the numbers, made the case, and rebuilt the site from the ground up for SEO. A brand new light/dark mode design system, a lightning-fast CMS, and a marketing engine tuned to turn a visit into an actual case review instead of just a page view.
That work matters because of who it’s for. People land on this site scared, hurt, and sizing up whether anyone will take them seriously. The site has to earn that trust before a single word of copy does. I’m also a proud LGBTQIA+ advocate, and to me good design is fundamentally about access: everyone deserves a clear, honest path to the help they’re looking for.
I’m not an attorney, but when I’m not arguing with myself over a one-pixel border, I’m usually nearby, defending a font nobody asked me to defend.
Notable Result
A full SEO audit. A dedicated Michigan portal. Then the harder call: retiring a WordPress build for something built to move — a new design system, a new CMS, and a marketing engine built to turn traffic into case reviews.
